INFORMATIONS
For each of the techniques used, a sincere and motivated commitment is necessary to achieve a result.
Therapist subject to professional secrecy.
Active, caring and non-judgmental listening.
Consultations by appointment only.
The sessions are carried out as part of a support and solutions approach, excluding any medical or paramedical purpose and may not in any case replace a medical opinion. They do not exempt you from consulting a health professional whenever necessary.
Your doctor is the only one who can diagnose, prescribe or modify your treatment and you will not stop taking it without his medical advice, even if you notice a clear improvement in your condition.
Whatever the technique used, the first session is longer than the following ones, it begins with a verbal exchange to learn to know each other and lasts about 1h30 to 2h, depending on what you have to express.
* You explain to me the motivation of your approach, your expectation, your goal to achieve.(*)
*In my turn, I explain the process of my workflow and the number of sessions recommended for you to obtain the expected result.
(This number of sessions will be confirmed following the elaboration of the protocol, which I would propose to you following the study of your first session history).
* We then begin the actual anamnesis; I ask you a number of targeted questions.
* Then we set a goal called SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Time), which will be your focus.
* At the end of this exchange time, we begin the practice of therapy.
* At the end of the session, we will finish with a briefing on your feelings and your desire or not to continue towards the programming of other sessions.
My job will then be to develop a personalized and detailed protocol, an action plan for your next sessions and the achievement of your goal. Your commitment must therefore be sincere and truly motivated.
Each subsequent session, constituting a step forward, will begin with an exchange (inter-session), then a briefing at the end of the session where we share your developments; this allows me to adjust the program if necessary.
(*) It may be that your problem does not fall within my field of action, or is purely medical, in these cases I would advise a colleague or a specialist doctor. You may be asked to consult your doctor, or have his approval, before performing a session (depending on the pathology or particular case noted).
